Upper estimate price exceeded by 64 %.
The work Below The Freezing Point #2 by Chen Ting-Shih was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January last year. It achieved a price of HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,748.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ting-Shih achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Below The Freezing Point #2 von Chen Ting-Shih kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.748,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Ting-Shih erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Seasons im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17).
