In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-character Poem in Running Script by Chen Liu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,394.31), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chen Liu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 18,282.31) in November 2009 for the work Broken Sky 13.

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running Script von Chen Liu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.394,31) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Liu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 18.282,31) im November 2009 für die Arbeit Broken Sky 13 beobachtet.
