The work Cloudscape No. 3 by Chen Liu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,493.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Liu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Broken Sky 13, which sold at auction in November 2009 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 18,282.31).

Die Arbeit Cloudscape No. 3 von Chen Liu kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.493,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Liu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Broken Sky 13 beobachtet, die im November 2009 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 18.282,31) versteigert wurde.
