Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Sailing Along The River by Chen Fan was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Flowers And Vegetables in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sailing Along The River von Chen Fan wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Flowers And Vegetables im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
