The work Tibetan Landscape by Chen Danqing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Danqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tibetan Cowboys in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 6,730,000.00 (€ 762,313.13).

Die Arbeit Tibetan Landscape von Chen Danqing kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Danqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tibetan Cowboys im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.730.000,00 (€ 762.313,13).
