A top price for Chen Congzhou
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Grapes, Bamboo, Plum Blossoms, and Orchids by Chen Congzhou. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,242.61), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Grapes, Bamboo, Plum Blossoms, and Orchids the most expensive artwork by Chen Congzhou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, Bamboo, Plum Blossoms, and Orchids von Chen Congzhou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.242,61) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Grapes, Bamboo, Plum Blossoms, and Orchids zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Chen Congzhou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
