Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included this untitled work by Charlotte Yazbek. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,137.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charlotte Yazbek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El buscador de pájaros, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 38,400.00 (€ 28,402.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Charlotte Yazbek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.137,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charlotte Yazbek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El buscador de pájaros beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 38.400,00 (€ 28.402,37) versteigert wurde.
