It achieved a price of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,586.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Walter Simpson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Flight Of The Wild Duck in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,274.96).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.586,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Walter Simpson erzielen.
