Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Decorative Arts and Contemporary Ceramics including Vintage Posters, which included the work 'Morning Kid', Design Introduced In 1925 by Charles Vyse. The price achieved of GBP 828.75 (€ 925.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Vyse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'The Horse Fair': A Chelsea Pottery Model, introduced in 1934 in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,812.00 (€ 5,650.46).
