Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue Prise À Pornic by Charles-Victor Famin was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 442.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Victor Famin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Une Belle Croupe, Circa 1870, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 1,611.00.

Die Arbeit Vue Prise À Pornic von Charles-Victor Famin kam im Juni 2015 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 442,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles-Victor Famin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Une Belle Croupe, Circa 1870 beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 1.611,00 versteigert wurde.
