A top price for Charles Verbrugghe - as previously expected
The work San Remo by Charles Verbrugghe was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,509.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, San Remo is the most expensive artwork by Charles Verbrugghe that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.509,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist San Remo das teuerste Kunstwerk von Charles Verbrugghe, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
