In the 19th Century European Art including Barbizon, Realist and auction, the work A Landscape In Wales changed hands for USD 11,950.00 (€ 6,050.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Charles Tattershall Dodd have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2007 by the work Shipbuilding At Penmaepool, Merioneth at GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35).
