This artwork by Charles Robertson, R.W.S. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in August 2003. In the British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work Fishing vessels in the Grand Harbour, Valetta sold for GBP 1,292.50 (€ 1,855.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00.
