Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work L'idiot - 1944 by Charles Lapicque. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Lapicque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'un Tigre in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 325,638.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'idiot - 1944 von Charles Lapicque zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Lapicque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'un Tigre im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 325.638,59).
