Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A French peasant girl by Charles Landelle. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,672.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Landelle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Algérienne jouant de la Darbouka in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 90,001.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A French peasant girl von Charles Landelle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.672,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Landelle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Algérienne jouant de la Darbouka im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 90.001,18).
