Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bean Longpod, c. 1900 by Charles Jones was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Paris in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,250.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Jones have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Morning Visit in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 16,730.00 (€ 24,041.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bean Longpod, c. 1900 von Charles Jones wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Jones auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Morning Visit im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.730,00 (€ 24.041,92).
