Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape with Trees and Path; and two works by other hands of other mediums, subjects and sizes by Charles Jean Agard was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 120.00 (€ 93.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Jean Agard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fillette À La Robe À Poischarles-Jean Agard ; Young Girl Wearing A Dress With Spots ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape with Trees and Path; and two works by other hands of other mediums, subjects and sizes von Charles Jean Agard im August 2006 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 120,00 (€ 93,80) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Jean Agard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fillette À La Robe À Poischarles-Jean Agard ; Young Girl Wearing A Dress With Spots ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
