In December 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Classic Sale, which included the work Mechant stand with game by Charles Hoguet. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,336.67), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Hoguet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blick in das Tal der Rhône. in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 36,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Classic Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mechant stand with game von Charles Hoguet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.336,67) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Hoguet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blick in das Tal der Rhône. im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.120,00.
