Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Activities on the beach by Charles Hoguet was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,151.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Hoguet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blick in das Tal der Rhône. in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 36,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Activities on the beach von Charles Hoguet wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.151,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Hoguet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blick in das Tal der Rhône. im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.120,00.
