A top price for Charles Halkerston Woolford - as previously expected
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures, which included the work The crescent moon by Charles Halkerston Woolford. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 765.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The crescent moon is the most expensive artwork by Charles Halkerston Woolford that we have observed at auctions so far.
