Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work Port Méditerranéen Animé De Personnages Au Lever Du Soleil by Charles Francois Grenier de Lacroix. It changed hands for a price of EUR 39,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Francois Grenier de Lacroix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of A Mediterranean Seaport At Dusk, With Fishermen And Elegant Figures Gathered Along The Harbor As A Ship Pulls In in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 516,500.00 (€ 478,506.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Port Méditerranéen Animé De Personnages Au Lever Du Soleil von Charles Francois Grenier de Lacroix zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 39.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Francois Grenier de Lacroix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of A Mediterranean Seaport At Dusk, With Fishermen And Elegant Figures Gathered Along The Harbor As A Ship Pulls In im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 516.500,00 (€ 478.506,58).
