Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Seasonally Boston by Charles Fazzino. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of USD 535.50 (€ 502.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Fazzino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A penny saved is a penny earned in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 2,520.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seasonally Boston von Charles Fazzino zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 535,50 (€ 502,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Fazzino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A penny saved is a penny earned im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.520,00.
