Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work The Triumph Of Love Over Time by Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,770.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quatre Études De Frontispices Pour L'État Des Troupes Et Des États-Majors Des Places, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 5,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Triumph Of Love Over Time von Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.770,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quatre Études De Frontispices Pour L'État Des Troupes Et Des États-Majors Des Places beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 5.500,00 versteigert wurde.
