In February 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, which included the work Putti Forgeant Des Armes by Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,115.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quatre Études De Frontispices Pour L'État Des Troupes Et Des États-Majors Des Places in May last year with an auction result of EUR 5,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Putti Forgeant Des Armes von Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.115,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quatre Études De Frontispices Pour L'État Des Troupes Et Des États-Majors Des Places im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.500,00.
