The work The harbour of Hoorn with the Hoofdtoren by Charles Dankmeijer was sold in the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,750.00. Other works by Charles Dankmeijer have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 3,107.00 in February 2004 for the work De Lekpoort, Vianen: city gate by the river Lek.

Die Arbeit The harbour of Hoorn with the Hoofdtoren von Charles Dankmeijer wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Dankmeijer haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.107,00 im Februar 2004 für die Arbeit De Lekpoort, Vianen: city gate by the river Lek beobachtet.
