Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Girl in Landscape, c.1962 by Charles Blackman was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in August 2021. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 79,950.00 (€ 67,754.24). Admittedly, works by Charles Blackman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alice Amongst Flowers in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 356,500.00 (€ 484,423.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Girl in Landscape, c.1962 von Charles Blackman kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 79.950,00 (€ 67.754,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Blackman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alice Amongst Flowers im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 356.500,00 (€ 484.423,03).
