The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,106.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hygienic Toys 2, 1995 is the most expensive artwork by Charles Benefiel that we have observed at auctions so far.
