Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Louis Baugniet could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Behind Closed Doors changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,962.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Louis Baugniet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man's Buff in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 556,000.00 (€ 596,054.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Louis Baugniet konnte im Januar 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
