Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Charles Arnoldi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April 2021. In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, the work Untitled, 1984 sold for USD 47,812.50 (€ 39,744.39) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Arnoldi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled: Two Parts sold at auction in April 2010 with the realized price of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,496.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Arnoldi erzielte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1984 für USD 47.812,50 (€ 39.744,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00.
