This artwork by Charles Arnoldi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April 2021. In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, the work Grid, 2005 sold for USD 36,562.50 (€ 30,392.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Arnoldi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled: Two Parts sold at auction in April 2010 with the realized price of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,496.02).
