The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,575.00 (€ 6,503.82), 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles A. Fries - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eucalyptus Grove - Balboa Park before the Exposition, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 29,062.50 (€ 25,748.65).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.575,00 (€ 6.503,82) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles A.
