Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il Cervino D'Estate by Cesare Maggi was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 34,350.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cesare Maggi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alta Montagna, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 99,150.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il Cervino D'Estate von Cesare Maggi kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 34.350,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cesare Maggi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alta Montagna beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 99.150,00 versteigert wurde.
