Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in Paris held the auction European Art, which included the work Psyche Abandoned by Cesare Lapini. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 19,076.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Lapini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cupid and Psyche in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 259,695.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Psyche Abandoned von Cesare Lapini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 19.076,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Lapini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cupid and Psyche im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 259.695,29).
