In January 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & British Drawings Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna, which included the work The Holy Family with putti and a kneeling saint by Cesare Franchi. The auction ended at the price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,605.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Franchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deux Musiciennes in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 17,851.00.
