Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Italian angling For A Good Catch by Cesare-Auguste Detti was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings Including Spanish Painting, The Orientalist Sale, and German, Austrian, Scandinavian and Symbolist Works auction at Sothebys in London in November 2010. The auction ended at the price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,949.98), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare-Auguste Detti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Musical Interlude in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 306,500.00 (€ 310,191.28).

Die Arbeit Italian angling For A Good Catch von Cesare-Auguste Detti wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including Spanish Painting, The Orientalist Sale, and German, Austrian, Scandinavian and Symbolist Works bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
