Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Venetian Court, Minstrel Scene by Cesare-Auguste Detti was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,291.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare-Auguste Detti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Musical Interlude in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 306,500.00 (€ 310,191.28).

Die Arbeit Venetian Court, Minstrel Scene von Cesare-Auguste Detti wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
