Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Festa in oriente by Cesare Biseo was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in November 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,960.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cesare Biseo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amongst The Pyramids, which sold at auction in September 2015 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,388.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Festa in oriente von Cesare Biseo wurde im November 2002 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.960,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cesare Biseo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amongst The Pyramids beobachtet, die im September 2015 für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.388,77) versteigert wurde.
