Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Cesar Klein was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,878.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesar Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Madonna“. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Cesar Klein wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.878,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesar Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Madonna“. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.500,00.
