A top price for Cen Guangyue - as previously expected
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Cen Guangyue. The price achieved of HKD 7,080.00 (€ 803.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy is the most expensive artwork by Cen Guangyue that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Cen Guangyue zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 803,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cen Guangyue, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
