Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with coffee grinder by Cees van IJsseldijk for EUR 418.25. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Cees van IJsseldijk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view from the artist's studio at Singel 309 in winter in September 2002 with an auction result of EUR 4,182.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with coffee grinder von Cees van IJsseldijk für EUR 418,25 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cees van IJsseldijk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view from the artist's studio at Singel 309 in winter im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.182,50.
