In July 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Naakt in tuin - Nude in garden by Cees Bantzinger. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 896.25 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Naakt in tuin - Nude in garden is even the most expensive work of art by Cees Bantzinger that we have observed at auctions so far.
