Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vent 30.5 x 17.5 cm. (12 x 7 in.) by Cecil King was sold in the The Irish SaleVision & Voice auction at Bonhams in Dublin in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 896.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil King achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intrusion 1972 in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,239.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vent 30.5 x 17.5 cm. (12 x 7 in.) von Cecil King wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Irish SaleVision & Voice bei Bonhams in Dublin versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 896,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil King erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intrusion 1972 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.239,71).
