In the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction, the work Snow slopes above Wengen sold for GBP 1,434.00 (€ 2,029.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cecil Arthur Hunt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A storm on Loch Awe, Argyllshire, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,117.06).
