Despite a disappointment, a good price for Catharina Gotby
This work of art by Catharina Gotby could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, the work "Berget (Vulkanen)", 1995 (The Mountain (The Volcano) changed hands for SEK 9,000.00 (€ 1,038.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, "Berget (Vulkanen)", 1995 (The Mountain (The Volcano) is the most expensive artwork by Catharina Gotby that we have observed at auction so far.
