Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work The Monument; The Road Up; and Flowers & Sign by Caroline McNairn for GBP 264.00 (€ 385.66). This price was achieved in the auction 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Caroline McNairn have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2005 by the work The Structure; and The Table at GBP 420.00 (€ 613.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Monument; The Road Up; and Flowers & Sign von Caroline McNairn für GBP 264,00 (€ 385,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Andere Arbeiten von Caroline McNairn wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im August 2005 die Arbeit The Structure; and The Table mit GBP 420,00 (€ 613,55).
