Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carol Rama achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Arsenale 71 sold for EUR 55,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carol Rama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 277,447.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carol Rama erzielte im November 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Arsenale 71 für EUR 55.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carol Rama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 277.447,63).
