Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Carmelo Arden Quin was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,169.66). Admittedly, works by Carmelo Arden Quin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aris in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,749.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carmelo Arden Quin kam im November 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 16.169,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmelo Arden Quin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aris im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.749,73).
