The work Composition - 1957 by Carmelo Arden Quin was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. It achieved a price of EUR 3,280.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmelo Arden Quin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aris in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,749.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition - 1957 von Carmelo Arden Quin wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.280,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmelo Arden Quin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aris im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.749,73).
