Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,504.13). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Quintana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Um saloom de téa, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,708.35).
