Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Physicromie 655 by Carlos Cruz-Diez was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 189,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlos Cruz-Diez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Physichromie Panam in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 879,000.00 (€ 776,296.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Physicromie 655 von Carlos Cruz-Diez kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 189.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Cruz-Diez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Physichromie Panam im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 879.000,00 (€ 776.296,03).
